The half-gallon jar substitutes for the traditional oak barrel and can be filled with cucumbers and a spiced brine, sure to deliver deli-style pickles with great flavor and crunch. The kit includes an airlock lid and fermentation weight along with a package of kosher salt and one black tea bag for your very first brine.
