Description
The Tuareg are nomadic people who maintain their Berber ways, most of whom live in the Sahara. Tuareg smiths or inadan wan-tizol, makers of weapons and jewellery, are known to produce bold pieces of body adornments using geometric patterns and motifs to symbolise meaning in their culture in silver, white metal and copper. Designed from a drawing inspired by an original Tuareg antique, then handmade by Leo, master silversmith in Indonesia in sterling silver 92.5, followed by casting using the lost-wax-method in brass. 2.3" x 1.7"
